The Montpelier Descendant's Committee was formed to protect the legacies of their enslaved ancestors by way of stewarding their own heritage. They are working towards building a memorial for the large field where the enslaved were buried and forgotten.

This video was an attempt to build a case for why a whole truth history is integral to this country’s survival. Without acknowledging this nations difficult past, we as a country will never be able to fully progress as a society.
